Developing a roast profile for a client is the creative process of making the clients "Secret Sauce". There are also flavor profile requests that follow a clients specified recipe for temperature curve, air flow and green origin blends.
During the Development process, we typically recommend single origin or blends of coffee origins to enhance the natural sensory characteristics of the bean. This selection of green coffee is then roasted based on a very specific time and temperature curve that maximizes the intended flavor of the roasted coffee. Once a successful recipe is created, it can be consistently repeated with the aid of automated software controls.
